To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer

It is always better to give happiness to a single person instead of pleasing thousands of people. If you see a child crying near your house because he didn't eat anything and you take him to a place and have his food, imagine how happy this child would be by your little act of kindness. Similarly if you see a young man wearing a torn dress because he is too poor to buy himself a dress and you buy it for him, that man will be the happiest person.

But all we care about is how we can please many people instead of giving pleasure to a single person. Because we think that if many people are pleased by our work then we will get many credits and thus it will be known by many people but is it even worth to please those who already have many things in their life. Life is short and in this short span of time we want to make identities, credits and appreciations but in this process we forget to live our life by giving little happiness to others.
