Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader and he deserves respect like every freedom fighter. But a World leader is one who can influence others to follow his way for good work. Some people influence their education and good thoughts. He was a great leader and always helped people and inspired others too.

When he was in South Africa he decided to fight for Indians who were settled in South Africa. He fought for them for their rights. Being a Hindu he used his religion to influence Hindu’s. He was slapped by muslim person and Gandhi did not react to him, after relaizing his mistake the muslim guy apologzie to him. He became world leader not because of an accident, but through solving people's problems which are common to all human types, white or black without causing harm to the perpetrators of violence. There are people, animals, trees, mountains in the world but If we are kind to them ,they will respond kindly in return to us. He used to treat people of any religion or any color equally. Because of this Gandhi became a Mahatma in the eyes of people. There were many great people like Nelson Mandela and other was so impressed by his thoughts that he became Gandhi’s followers.
