Gandhi’s interactions with industrialists in India
Mahatma Gandhi was always in support of made in India products and he invented Khadi clothes for the people of India so that India would never need to buy materials to make clothes for its people. He was always in support of those who made it possible for a British free country.
Similarly, those Industrialists who supported and started small businesses in India for export and import of materials got full appreciation from Gandhiji. Jamsetji Tata was one of the oldest businessmen who started his business in India. He was Parsis and he took refuge in India. India became his motherland and he gave India a new business model which helped every individual to stand on his/her own.
He gave many unemployed people jobs which decreased the employment problem and also started making many things which he sold to other countries and made profitable for India. Gandhi stood by him and supported him. Today also Tata company is helping many people who are in need and also making profit for India.
Gandhi's khadi clothes are also in trend nowadays, people from youth to older all are wearing khadi clothes and flaunting it. We all appreciate the Make in India project which was started by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it will help those who run small businesses. Many materials now have become extinct. People have no idea about those materials but because of the Make in India project it has become possible to know about those extinct materials and their ideal place.
